Welcome to the Dollhouse with Olly Mann
Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.
In episode 103 Sam is joined Olly Mann, writer, broadcaster, and podcaster. His work includes Answer Me This!, The Modern Mann, The Week Unwrapped, and Today In History with The Retrospectors.
Olly has chosen Todd Solondz's 1995 low-budget feature Welcome to the Dollhouse (87 minutes). The dark comedy was a hit at the Sundance Film Festival, and stars Heather Matarazzo, Brendan Sexton III, and Eric Mabius.
Sam and Olly discuss podcasting as a full time job, first watching the film in the mid-90s, Jewish on-screen representation and what - exactly - is 'cheeky factual'.
