Frank with Jon Ronson
In episode 86 Sam is joined by Jon Ronson, author of The Men Who Stare At Goats and The Psychopath Test, and the podcaster behind The Butterfly Effect, The Last Days of August, and Things Fell Apart.
Jon has chosen Frank (90 mins) directed by Lenny Abrahamson. Released in 2014 and written by Jon Ronson and Peter Straughan, the film stars Michael Fassbender, Domhnall Gleeson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Scoot McNairy.
Sam and Jon discuss the real-life inspiration behind Frank, the experience of working on a deeply personal project, and what it's like to revisit the film eight years after release.
