08. My Neighbour Totoro with Tim Anderson

Read the episode transcript

Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 8, Sam is joined by chef Tim Anderson, winner of Masterchef 2011, owner of Nanban in Brixton and author of Tokyo Stories: A Japanese Cookbook.

Tim has selected Studio Ghibli's 1988 animated classic, My Neighbour Totoro (86 minutes) directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

Tim talks to Sam about his relationship with food in film and tells us why we should take a closer look at the iconic Catbus.

We'll be back in a couple of weeks with episode 9.
